Century Casino & Hotel Edmonton stands at 13103 Fort Road, 6.3 km from Sir Winston Churchill Square in a straight line. Behind its door are two stages, a small attached hotel and a gaming floor.
Two stages and 26 rooms
Behind the door stand two showrooms. The larger covers 10,700 sq ft and seats about 500 for live concerts, from bands to blues and country. The second room is smaller, 3,000 sq ft with seating for about 200. Yuk Yuk's Comedy Club holds stand-up there every weekend. The guide does not follow what plays on a given night; the venue's own listings carry that.
A small hotel is attached, with 26 rooms. Room types include a King, a Double Queen and a King Suite with a living room and a two-person Roman tub. Because the hotel is attached, a concert, a late meal and a room for the night all sit behind the same door. Prices are outside the scope of this guide, so none appear here.
Century Casinos opened the Edmonton casino in November 2006, and the attached hotel followed in March 2007.
Food after the show
Mid City Grill is the sit-down restaurant here. It serves Thursday to Sunday from 4 pm to midnight, so on those four nights the kitchen is still going past 11 pm.
Celly's Sports Bar & Lounge keeps longer hours: 9:30 am to 2 am, seven days a week. Its kitchen stays open until 1:30 am. From Monday to Wednesday, when Mid City Grill is closed, Celly's is where a late plate comes from behind this door. Holiday hours should be checked on the venue's own site.

The gaming floor
The floor opens Monday to Thursday from 9:30 am to 4 am. From Friday to Sunday it runs 24 hours. Holiday hours are not covered by this guide and should be checked on the venue's own site. The casino also has an off-track betting parlour for horse races.
Entry is 18+, and staff must check valid government-issued photo ID for anyone who appears to be under 25. GameSense Advisors and an info centre are in each Alberta casino, this one included.
Parking and the way home
Cars have two options at 13103 Fort Road. There are 600 surface spaces, and a complimentary heated underground garage holds 300 more.
Without a car, the nearest LRT stop is Belvedere station on the Capital Line, at Fort Road and 129 Avenue. After midnight, overnight route 002 Owl leaves Belvedere about every 30 minutes. The last trip toward West Edmonton Mall goes around 2:40 a.m. Toward Clareview, the last one leaves around 3:20 a.m.
